Five luxury villas are only the beginning in Croatia
We are currently witnessing a growing trend towards prefabricated construction in the individual offer. People are looking for unique and customised houses that reflect their personal style and needs. And not only to live in, but also as an investment. At Marles, we have adapted to this demand and offer the possibility of individual design of prefabricated houses that are perfectly adapted to the wishes and needs of our clients.
One such high-profile project is in the Croatian region of Istria, where we have built a luxury tourist resort of five villas for a foreign investor. The investor wanted energy-efficient buildings that combine a modern style with traditional Istrian architecture. Using the plans of a Croatian architect, the villas were built with a completely traditional look, while offering modern functionality and energy efficiency.
Despite appearing identical at first glance, each villa has its own unique design and room layout. Each villa comprises 187 square metres of net living area on two storeys, with a low-pitch roof and concealed gutters. The ground floor is designed as a daytime living area, while the upper floor comprises four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The surrounding area of each villa, with 300 square metres of outdoor space, allows for carefree outdoor living, with both shaded and sunny areas and the possibility of installing a hot tub. The villas also offer a sauna, a heated outdoor swimming pool, a carport, and a selection of floor coverings.
The construction of the five villas in a remote location was a challenge that Marles successfully realised with the help of Slovenian subcontractors. They executed a variety of works, including installations, painting, and decorating, laying of the parquet, tiles, screed, underfloor heating, cooling (air conditioning), interior doors and sanitary fittings. And after the successful completion of the project, the investor Wild Adriatic Way, convinced by the quality of our prefabricated houses, our long experience and the personal approach of our experts, entrusted us with two other similar projects.
